DIGITAL
CERTIFICATION SERVICES
As the world becomes more digital, the use of traditional paper-based certificates is giving way to digital certificates. Digital certificates offer a more efficient, accessible and convenient alternative, allowing individuals and businesses to easily validate and showcase their qualifications and achievements.
Discover the benefits of digital certificates and how they are changing the landscape of credentialing.
Digital certificates complement physical ones, allowing for easy sharing with employers and displaying of achievements.
In the past, Certificates were always associated with a tangible document, one made from paper. This is rapidly changing, with digital certificates replacing paper credentials.
Similar to digital badges, digital certificates can be used to provide more formal digital credentialing. The use of digital certificates offers a great alternative to paper certificates in light of the general trend to reduce paper use and carbon footprint.
Furthermore, they can be shared quickly and easily via email or uploaded to direct employers and job websites. No longer do institutions or employers have to store paper-based certificates or photocopy them or post them out to learners.
In contrast to individual soft skills or individual competencies, Digital certificates prove more useful for certifying and validating a full qualification.
The Romax Digital Certificate Security and Encryption System
Identification / Authentication:
A combination of SMS and email verification, along with two-factor authentication, ensures that you are communicating with the right person and that they are who they claim to be. In this way, confidential information is protected from unauthorised disclosure. In addition to being fully encrypted, all certificates can also be encrypted using blockchain technology, where necessary.
Confidentiality:
Email communication sharing certificates are kept confidential in order to protect sensitive information. Messages can only be read and understood by their intended recipients. Before the sender can use client email to send out certificates via email, they must approve their DNS setup in our cloud system (Quadient Cloud).
Integrity:
If any tampering has taken place during the delivery process, whether it was an accident or the result of deliberate action, all parties involved in the process are informed of this fact.
Non-Repudiation:
It is not possible for the sender of the message to deny that it has been sent, and it is also not possible for the receiver of the message to deny that it has been received.
Access Control:
Persons or entities intended to access protected information are the only ones who may do so. For the purpose of preventing unauthorised modifications to the shared certificates, we generate encrypted certificates for you (password protected) using Quadient Designer/PDF encryption software.
