launched in the UK in February 2013 with a key mission to increase the pool of lifesaving blood stem cell donors. They believe that no one suffering from a blood cancer should die because they are unable to find a matching blood stem cell donor.
DKMS (known as Delete Blood Cancer UK at the time) started working with Romax February 2015 seeking advice and assistance initially with their requirements to help with the daily fulfilment of donor swab kits for potential donor registration. The clear need for donors to be registered to help in deleting blood cancer led to huge demand for the swab kits.
Following detailed discussions and access to test data files, Romax were tasked with providing a solution to receive and despatch as a matter of urgency, the daily requests. Understandably the need to provide a cost-effective and streamlined service that in turn removed the need for DKMS’ internal resource to be overwhelmed was needed.
What Romax Provided:
Using our extensive knowledge of data-driven personalised print, mailing fulfilment and postage discounts, our developers wrote a data script based on the data test files to produce a daily print run. Barcoded Printed Letters with integral barcode stickers digitally colour personalised, to be dispatched along with a cheek swab kit return envelope and information in a branded outer.
Daily donor requests are uploaded through Romax’s dedicated secure resource portal which is processed within strictly adhered to turnaround schedules as Romax prints on demand and fulfils a daily consignment.
The client continues to be extremely pleased with the result.
